How this clock is assembled
Side Wage is an independent publication. It has no institutional affiliation, no editorial board, no external funder and no commercial relationship with any organisation named in its notes.
Who publishes it
A single publisher, Side Wage, operating from Brazil, writing in English about research on platform labour, online side income and how monetization studies are measured and reported. There is no office open to visitors and no telephone line; all correspondence is written and arrives at one address.
What gets covered
A note is written when four conditions hold at once. The study names its authors and appears somewhere locatable. Its design can be inspected — a method section that says what was compared to what. It measures something specific rather than describing a direction in general terms. And it states its own limits clearly enough that a summary can reproduce them without inventing any.
How figures are handled
Figures are reported as the authors reported them, with the unit, the sample and the period attached in the same paragraph. Medians are not silently replaced by means. Utilization rates are not labelled as wages. Vacancy indices are not labelled as earnings. Where later work revises a net picture after costs, that debate is named as a separate strand rather than folded into the original figure.
What this publication does not do
It does not offer professional advice, personalised guidance, coaching or assessment of any individual situation. It does not present content as a method, system, formula, protocol or sequence of steps that produces an outcome. It does not publish testimonials, reviews, endorsements or accounts of individual results, and it does not collect them.
How we advertise
Where Side Wage is promoted through paid placements, the advertisement does not assert or imply knowledge of any viewer's personal situation, finances, occupation or intentions. The landing page matches the advertisement: both describe an independent publication of research notes, not a product claim, not a consultation and not a promise of results. Creative that violates that rule is not authorised.
Corrections
Factual errors in a published note are corrected in place when verified, with a dated note at the foot of the page describing what changed. Material disputes about interpretation that do not amount to a factual error are addressed by clarifying the authors' own wording rather than by inventing a new claim. Correction requests go to support@sidewage.online with the note title and the passage in question.
Commercial disclosure
Notes are not sold as sponsored placements. No organisation named in a note pays for coverage. Where a paid compilation of notes is offered separately, that sale is disclosed through the checkout and is governed by the Terms of Access and the Refund Policy. Advertising spend, if any, funds distribution of the publication; it does not alter the selection or wording of research notes.
